Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in America is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other prominent roles like Michelle McBride (2016 season), and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher, and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello was a student of political science at Villanova University. Bello trained in acting in New York and continued to improve her skills after graduation. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. [18] Bello wrote in November 2013 that she was having a same-sex affair with Clare Munn, her former lover. She published a book titled Whatever...Love Is a Love: Examining the labels We Give Ourselves. (Dey Street Books. April 28 and 29, 2015).
